Family members also often need information and support to understand and cope with the progressive nature of memory disorders. Our trained staff will be there with you on this journey providing advice, consultation and most importantly emotional support. We will also be available to recommend additional educational resources and external support groups if requested.

Frequently Asked Questions

Prior to Mom/Dad moving into our Community, we will conduct a financial review
to determine if the level of private resources are limited such that alternative payment plans or sources, including negotiated private rates and/or conversion
to a Medicaid reimbursement program, need to be considered. We will commit
to a financial plan that works for all parties and so that there are no future
surprises.

We tailor daily activities for the residents based upon their individual needs and abilities.

We have nursing staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a licensed nurse 40 hours per week and on call in case of emergency.

If mom is unable to travel to a doctor’s office, we have a physician who comes to the facility once a week.

The Cottage design and our round the clock staffing enable us to closelymonitor our residents at all times. Each Cottage main door exits into a secured interior courtyard and our round the clock staff are alerted to a resident leaving the Cottage by the alarm systems on the exit doors.

Yes, all residents of our specialized dementia care communities must have a diagnosis of Alzheimers or dementia to live with us.

Testimonials

Dr. Karla B.

I wanted to write to you about your Executive Director Jeff Roberts from the Cottages at Marysville. Mr. Roberts is an ally in the field of geriatrics. I have known Mr. Roberts since my days at Providence, prior to starting my own private practice. He is a wealth of knowledge, comforting to be around, and truly an advocate to the residents. He is professional, courteous, and an asset to your organization. It is unfortunate that I often see many EDs from other ALs leave their respective communities. Mr. Roberts on the other hand, has remained dedicated and loyal to the Marysville Cottages residents that I thought a letter to his manager was overdue. In our line of work, it is common to hear about what we have done WRONG, and it is rare to ever be acknowledged for the RIGHT or good things that we do. Hence, I just wanted to write this letter to you, to share what I have experienced working with Mr. Roberts. He is a great leader and one that I look up to.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate the partnership between Novari Primary Care and The Cottages at Marysville, The Cottages at Mill Creek, and The Everett Plaza. If there’s anything that Novari Primary Care can do for you and your Care Partners Senior Living communities, please let me know and I will be more than happy to assist.
